The Marvel actor, 43, spoke to Access Hollywood at the premiere of his new film Red One, where he was asked about being a father one day. “Yeah, I hope so. Yeah, absolutely,” Evans responded. “The title of dad is an exciting one.”

Evans married his 27-year-old wife, Alba Baptista in September 2023, and the couple made their red carpet debut at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party this year, per People magazine.

While Evans is yet to be a parent, he does have family members he can turn to for advice when the time comes.

According to his profile on Biography.com, Chris and his three siblings – Carly, Scott and Shanna – were born to their parents Robert and Lisa. Robert worked as a dentist, while Lisa took a more creative route and was a dancer and now a theatre director. “We were like the von Trapps [from The Sound of Music], all singing and dancing,” Chris once shared. Robert and Lisa divorced in 1999, according to People magazine.
