The anonymous accuser, who originally filed the lawsuit in October without revealing Jay-Z’s name, alleges that the assault happened at an MTV Video Music Awards after-party. She claims that an unnamed female celebrity watched.

According to her obituary on Legacy.com, Cathy Michelle White was born in Fort Johnson, Louisiana, on July 3, 1982. She was also known by the names “Lil Cathy”, “Koreana Hun” and “Korie”. She was half-Korean and half African-American. She reportedly attended Maury High School in Norfolk, and then graduated from Howard University in Washington in 2004.
