Jay-Z and his previous relationships are back in the spotlight as a civil lawsuit alleging his involvement in the Diddy abuses was revealed – and netizens are honing in on a woman named Cathy White

Jay-Z has been accused in a civil lawsuit of raping a 13-year-old girl in 2000, allegedly along with Sean “Diddy” Combs, as reported by NBC News.

The anonymous accuser, who originally filed the lawsuit in October without revealing Jay-Z’s name, alleges that the assault happened at an MTV Video Music Awards after-party. She claims that an unnamed female celebrity watched.

The musician, 55, has since denied the allegations. “My only heartbreak is for my family,” Carter said in the statement. “My wife and I will have to sit our children down, one of whom is at the age where her friends will surely see the press and ask questions about the nature of these claims, and explain the cruelty and greed of people. I mourn yet another loss of innocence.”

According to her obituary on Legacy.com, Cathy Michelle White was born in Fort Johnson, Louisiana, on July 3, 1982. She was also known by the names “Lil Cathy”, “Koreana Hun” and “Korie”. She was half-Korean and half African-American. She reportedly attended Maury High School in Norfolk, and then graduated from Howard University in Washington in 2004.
