Meet Jared Safier, reality TV star Courtney Stodden’s husband: the Emmy-winning producer-director popped the question with a 5-carat diamond, and has worked with Jamie Lee Curtis and Rita Moreno
The pair planned their wedding in 3 weeks – she says their connection was instant and that they’re ‘the same kind of crazy’; Stodden previously wed actor Doug Hutchison, when she was 16 and he was 50
The couple, who announced their engagement earlier this year, exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony with only 20 guests in attendance, per Us Weekly.
They reportedly planned the wedding in three weeks flat after realising that both their families would be in town for Thanksgiving.
Stodden opened up to Us Weekly about the decision to wed so suddenly. “We planned on getting married, and we didn’t have a date,” she shared. “We just kind of looked at each other, and we’re the same kind of crazy. We just looked at each other and we’re just like, ‘This is the perfect time to do it.’”
“I’m really a free spirit and I’ve always been that way and I don’t think that’s going to be going away after the marriage, and so I just felt like it was the right time and it all just came together” she added.
