Who is Michael Jackson’s daughter Paris newly engaged to? Meet Justin Long, a behind-the-scenes music producer who’s worked with 5 Seconds of Summer, and a dedicated mental health advocate
Justin Long was a business development manager before turning to music; he’s been featured on FX’s Mayans soundtrack and has worked with (you guessed it) Paris Jackson
Michael Jackson’s only daughter, Paris Jackson, is officially spoken for.
The musician announced her engagement to bandmate Justin Long through an adorable carousel post on Instagram, where, among several other cute couple photos, she sneaked in a proposal shot, with Long down on one knee in a gorgeously ornate room. Talk about a subtle flex.
The post was made in celebration of her fiancé’s birthday and was sweetly captioned, “Happy birthday my sweet blue. Doing life with you these last years has been an indescribable whirlwind and I couldn’t dream of anyone more perfect for me to do it all with. Thank you for letting me be yours. I love you.”
Jackson and Long have reportedly been dating since 2022, per E! News, but are low-key about their love life. So, just who is Justin Long?
Justin Long studied business
Long graduated from Grace College & Seminary in 2007 with a bachelor’s in science, marketing and business administration, per his LinkedIn. That same year, he moved from Indiana to Washington DC to pursue a career in the field. After spending some time as a business development manager at a consulting firm, he moved into marketing for Kids v Cancer and, finally, turned to music.
He’s a musician
Jackson and Long share a love of music. Per his LinkedIn, Long is currently involved in behind-the-scenes work such as songwriting, producing, sound engineering and mixing under his own label, Trust in Justin Productions. Some notable artists he has worked with in the past include 5 Seconds of Summer, Sleater-Kinney and, of course, his wife-to-be, Jackson.
