The Chainsmokers singer Drew Taggart, 34, and swimsuit model Marianne Fonseca, 35, just got engaged – and the couple have Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka, and Justin Bieber’s wife Hailey to thank, as each played an important role in the beautiful proposal.
Fonseca explained on her Instagram Story that Ivanka had lured her into thinking they were having a girls dinner – only to find Taggart waiting for her upon arrival. “Summer friends turned lifelong loves,” Ivanka wrote on Instagram. “Congratulations @MarianneFonseca and @DrewTaggart. So happy for you both.”

Fonseca re-shared Ivanka’s Story and commented, “The truth is, @IvankaTrump invited me to a girls dinner with her. But when I got there it was my love @DrewTaggart. You guys got me so good!”
A source told Page Six that Trump had “played the ultimate wingwoman, orchestrating the dinner”, and the outlet also revealed that Hailey Bieber had helped Taggart when it came to “selecting the perfect [engagement]” ring for his bride-to-be.
The newly engaged couple have since confirmed the news. They shared several photos and videos of the proposal – and Fonseca’s impressive sparkler.
