Lucia Sofia Ponti looked “stunning” at Sunday’s Débutante Ball in a bandeau-cut gown by Giorgio Armani, writes Hello! When it came to dress hunting, she told the publication that she’d turned to her famous grandma for inspiration: “My grandmother always believed in timeless elegance and the importance of wearing something that reflects your true self,” Ponti said. “Growing up, she taught me the value of simplicity, tailoring, and always adding a touch of uniqueness to your outfit.”

Lucia Sofia Ponti was born in May 2006 to famous parents. Her father, Edoardo Ponti, is an Italian film director and the son of Sophia Loren, while her mother, Sasha Alexander, is an American actress who has starred in everything from Dawson’s Creek and Curb Your Enthusiasm, to The Morning Show and He’s Just Not That Into You.
Lucia is one of four grandchildren of Sophia Loren, according to People magazine. “My grandmother and I are very close. We visit her frequently in Geneva and she comes to visit us in LA as well. I love her dearly and despite the distance, we spend ample time together,” Lucia Sofia told Hello!
