Bronx Mowgli Wentz, the son of singer-songwriter Ashlee Simpson and Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz, plays guitar and piano, has ‘such good taste in music’, and is a big brother to four half-siblings

Ashlee Simpson may not look a day over 30 but she is already the mother of a young man who just turned 16. Marking the special occasion on her Instagram, the “Love Me for Me” singer posted a celebratory tribute to her eldest child, Bronx Mowgli Wentz, sharing a carousel of adorable photos from his childhood.

Simpson shares Bronx with ex-husband Pete Wentz, and has two other children, a girl named Jagger Snow, nine, and a boy named Ziggy Blu, four, with her current husband, Evan Ross. Wentz also shares son Saint Laszlo, 10, and daughter Marvel Jane, six, with his girlfriend, Meagan Camper. As for his firstborn Bronx’s birthday, the 45-year-old wrote on his Instagram Story, “Happy Birthday, love you so much.”

Bronx’s parents separated when he was only two and are now co-parenting. The teen appears to be close to both of them. He has been spotted with his parents at several public events, such as the Jurassic World: Dominion premiere, which he attended with his father and brother Saint in June 2022. Meanwhile, his stepfather, Ross, describes him as a “friend”. “We became like homies, we’re good buddies. It’s amazing. I can’t even tell you how incredible that child is – he’s unbelievable! He’s been a blessing in my life, and I’ve learned so much from him,” he shared on The Wendy Williams Show in February 2015.

Given his famous parents’ careers in music, it is no wonder that Bronx has a passion for music too. “He’s so into music. He loves to dance around and he writes little songs. They’re good! It’s so cute,” Simpson told People when Bronx was only six. Now, he can play the guitar and piano and is the Melrose Place star’s go-to for music recommendations. “I’m always like, ‘Give me the new music! Give me my new playlist’ because he really has such good taste in music,” she told SheKnows in June.
