A TikTok video criticising Megan Moroney’s hair at the 2024 Country Music Awards has gone viral – and the confident young artist has already clapped back

Megan Moroney is responding to the critics who made comments about her hair extensions at the 2024 CMA Awards.

 

According to ABC News, a TikTok video on the topic went viral, with the user claiming that there was a colour mismatch in the musician’s extensions. “I swear the hairstylist brain never shuts off. Who matched her extensions??” wrote the commenter over a TV view of Moroney accepting her award for New Artist of the Year at the event.

Another caption on the post added: “She’s golden on the top and ashy end”.

Fans defended the singer, who undoubtedly looked beautiful at the awards show – hair mismatch or not. “Who cares?! She’s Megan Moroney and she looked absolutely stunning!” one user clapped back.

Moroney ended up chiming in too, by commenting on the post, “Very nice of u”, per ABC.
