The actor, who shot to global fame in the Netflix period romance drama Bridgerton, plays Prince Fiyero in the new movie musical adaptation starring Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, giving fans a glimpse into his musical talents. If you’ve also fallen under Bailey’s spell, you might be wondering if the actor is single. The answer is shrouded in mystery, to say the least.
Last year, the 36-year-old Emmy-nominated actor revealed that he was dating “a lovely man” and was keeping their relationship private rather than secret. “Having a private life is, for me, completely critical,” he said at the time.

Bailey’s preference for privacy once also extended to his sexuality, but he eventually decided on that front at least, being open was necessary. James Ellis graduated in 2002 from Loughborough University, in the East Midlands region of England, with a bachelor’s degree in product design and manufacture. He currently works as the director of brand partnerships and advertising (Asia-Pacific) at Jester Media. He previously held directorial positions at Rovio Entertainment Corporation, and worked briefly with Fox and CBS.
