In a recently rediscovered interview, Ne-Yo’s ex-wife, reality TV star Crystal Renay, didn’t hold back, revealing that if she had known about his lifestyle she would never have married him. Speaking on The Culture Club Uncensored podcast, Renay, 38, clarified that having multiple partners wasn’t in their original agreement. “I wouldn’t have been married if that was, because that’s just not my get down,” she shared.
According to Atlanta Black Star, the pair finalised their divorce in January last year, but the drama escalated 15 months later when Ne-Yo was spotted with two women in Miami. Renay said that he “never, ever, ever brought that up” regarding other partners. She filed for divorce in 2021 after discovering that Ne-Yo, now 45, had fathered a child with another woman while they were still married.
