Meet Aussie actor Josh Heuston, who plays Constantine Corrino in Dune: Prophecy: he modelled for Louis Vuitton and Gucci, and only committed to acting in 2020 – but did he really date Kendall Jenner?
Australian actor Josh Heuston’s life has changed at warp speed – here’s how he went from science student to international fashion model to Hollywood actor in just 9 years
Featuring veteran actors Emily Watson and Mark Strong, the show will no doubt make stars of some of its younger cast members too. And soon global audiences will cotton on to something that Australians have known for a while – that 28-year-old Josh Heuston makes the perfect on-screen heartthrob.
Heuston has been cast as Constantine Corrino, the illegitimate son of Emperor Javicco Corrino (Mark Strong) who reportedly has a close connection to Sister Francesca in the story too (played by Hindi film actress Tabu).
But what’s really impressive is that Heuston only committed to acting around 2020. Here’s what else you need to know about the rising star:
Josh Heuston is Australian
Heuston grew up in the Baulkham Hills area of Western Sydney alongside his mum and two younger sisters Charlie and Ashley, according to an interview he gave to JustSmile. Reportedly of Anglo-Sri Lankan descent, his lifestyle nevertheless sounds 100 per cent Australian. “Nothing is better than going for a quick swim in the ocean,” he told the Beauty Crew when asked his favourite way to unwind.
He’s a science geek turned fashion model
Heuston told GQ Australia that, growing up, he never for a second considered being in front of the camera as a career, and instead went to a Sydney university to study bimolecular science and commerce. It was only when he was working as a waiter to make money while studying that things took an unexpected turn.
