Meet the wife of Donald Trump’s attorney general pick, Matt Gaetz: Ginger Luckey’s brother is the billionaire founder of Oculus VR, and she met Gaetz at Mar-a-Lago in 2020
After a whirlwind, 10-month romance, the pair got engaged and married the following year; Gaetz has been investigated for alleged sex with a minor, drug use and more – and Luckey’s sister is no fan
President-elect Donald Trump’s pick for attorney general has shocked many in Washington: the man up for the job, Matt Gaetz, has been investigated for allegedly having sex with a minor, illicit drug use and accepting improper gifts, according to CNN. Trump has confirmed his intention to nominate Gaetz for the job, meaning he would oversee the Department of Justice, the United States’ top law-enforcement body.
If approved by the Senate, Gaetz will be in charge of the very files of evidence that were used to investigate him, per CNN. Gaetz has consistently denied any wrongdoing and the investigation is closed. But as details have resurfaced, Gaetz’s personal life has come under the spotlight.
In 2021, in the midst of the inquiry into his actions, Gaetz married Ginger Luckey, as reported by the Daily Mail. The couple enjoyed a 10-month romance, culminating in their engagement in December 2020. “Attorney general will look great on you my love,” Luckey gushed on X last week.
