Meet Amanda Seyfried’s husband Thomas Sadoski: the actor starred in The Newsroom with Olivia Munn and first met the Mamma Mia! star while working on off-Broadway play The Way We Get By in 2015
The pair first met when Seyfried was dating Justin Long and Sadoski was married to casting director Kimberly Hope; they eloped in 2017 and had their first child days later
If that wasn’t enough, Seyfried was spotted looking drop-dead gorgeous at the Giorgio Armani Spring 2025 fashion show recently, wearing a black embroidered blazer with pink and green floral details over a black beaded dress.
After a long day of being booked and busy, the Emmy-winning actress retreats to her sprawling Catskills farm to spend time with her family, pets, and rescue animals. In a recent interview with Forbes, the animal-lover called her quiet farm life “essential for my mental health,” adding, “I moved upstate long before I had a family. Staying here was the best decision for privacy, peace and nature. It offers a more balanced life than the city does.”
Though Seyfried admitted there was a “learning curve” when adapting to the countryside, her husband was undoubtedly a source of support during the big move. So, who exactly is Amanda Seyfried’s husband Thomas Sadoski?
He’s an actor
Per IMDb, Thomas Sadoski was born in July 1976 in Connecticut. His family moved to College Station, Texas, and from a very young age, Sadoski had an affinity for acting. He took a brief shot at college, attending the University of North Texas, but he dropped out after a semester because “things didn’t really work out for me, and it didn’t really work out for them, so we had a mutual parting of ways,” he told WWD.
So, off to New York City he went, where he joined Circle in the Square Theatre School. In his early days, he served as Mark Ruffalo’s understudy, per SheKnows. By 2004, he was on Broadway and in 2009, he earned his first Tony nomination. Today, Sadoski is best known for being in the show The Newsroom, playing Olivia Munn’s love interest. He was also in CBS’s comedy Life in Pieces, as well as The Crowded Room – which also stars his wife.
