Off camera, Bentley’s life is fairly drama-free. The American Beauty actor has been in a committed marriage with his wife, Jacqui Swedberg, for over 10 years, and the couple share two children.
While Bentley is notoriously private and doesn’t use social media, he did reveal in a 2013 interview with Elle that he credits Swedberg for helping him remain sober after he developed substance abuse habits. “I’ve gotten through it because of my wife. Through her I thought, ‘There’s so much more to life,’” he said.
