Taylor Momsen may have left her days as Jenny Humphrey behind, but she’s still making bold moves on and off the red carpet. The Gossip Girl alum and Pretty Reckless lead singer turned heads at KidSuper’s Funny Business Volume III Comedy Fashion Show in September, rocking an edgy, topless look that showed off her toned abs.

At 31, the former child star who stole hearts as Cindy Lou Who in How the Grinch Stole Christmas isn’t afraid to push the envelope. Sporting a black and grey jacket with low-slung black trousers, Momsen went out on a fashion limb, with only nipple tape to preserve her modesty.

While Taylor’s name has become synonymous with rock stardom and fashion-forward statements, her younger sister, Sloane Momsen, 27, has kept a lower profile. The two sisters shared the screen in 2002’s We Were Soldiers, but Sloane opted for a quieter path while Taylor pursued acting and a thriving music career.

Born in 1996, in St Louis, Missouri, Sloane grew up in a household where the entertainment bug bit early. Though Sloane hasn’t followed the same high-profile path as Taylor, she shared the screen with her famous sibling in a few projects.

Kicking off her acting career early, Sloane made her mark in the war drama We Were Soldiers. Sharing the screen with both Mel Gibson and her sister, she played Cecile Moore, the youngest daughter of Lieutenant Colonel Hal Moore.

Before that, fans might have caught a glimpse of her in the live-action version of How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000). While her role was smaller than Taylor’s iconic turn as Cindy Lou Who, it was a sweet start to Sloane’s time in the spotlight. In 2004, she briefly appeared in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
