Meet Danica Patrick, the ex-Nascar driver who loves Trump: the F1 commentator and winery owner campaigned for the president-elect but wasn’t invited to the Mar-a-Lago after-party …
Patrick may have been spotted aboard Trump Force One on election day, but the retired record-breaking racing driver wasn’t celebrating with the president-elect in Palm Beach, Florida, after his win
The 2024 US presidential election has officially concluded, with Donald Trump emerging victorious in a clean sweep of key swing states, surprising pollsters. However, for former Nascar driver Danica Patrick – who enthusiastically campaigned for the 78-year-old and was even spotted aboard Trump Force One on election day – the win is bittersweet.
While the president-elect partied election night away at Mar-a-Lago with his inner circle – including Elon Musk and UFC CEO Dana White – Patrick seemingly didn’t get the memo. The Sky Sports F1 pundit looked pouty in a selfie posted on X alongside some friends, captioned, “Where was our Mar-a-Lago invite?”

Still, the 42-year-old first-time voter did not miss out on celebrating in her own way as she posed in front of an American flag in a red pantsuit, writing, “We did it” on Instagram.
Patrick was born in 1982 in Beloit, Wisconsin, but calls Roscoe, Illinois, her hometown. She currently lives in Phoenix, Arizona. Her racing journey started at 10 years old, when her parents gifted her a go-kart. She won karting titles at the regional and national level, before moving on to European road racing at age 16. At the tail end of her high school days, she moved to the UK to compete in Formula Vauxhall and Formula Ford.
She broke records in racing driving
Before retiring in 2018, Patrick enjoyed a multi-record-breaking career in racing driving. In 2008, she secured the best finish by a female driver at the Indianapolis 500, and in 2013, she became the first woman to win a Nascar Cup Series pole in the Daytona 500. Her continued success landed her on the cover of Sports Illustrated, and earned her numerous endorsement deals with the likes of Chevrolet, Coca-Cola, GoDaddy and Tissot. She has appeared in 14 Super Bowl commercials, 13 of which were for her long-time sponsor GoDaddy. Her current net worth, according to Celebrity Net Worth, is US$80 million.
