Melinda French Gates has been getting close to a new man.

After divorcing Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates in 2021, it seems Melinda has a new beau in her life.

Just this week, the billionaire philanthropist, 60, was spotted getting cosy with tech entrepreneur Philip Vaughn in New York City.

Melinda was married to her ex-husband, with whom she shares three adult children, for 27 years before she filed for divorce in May 2021. She cited his infidelity and his relationship with the late financier and sex offender Jeffrey Epstein as the reason for their split.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Vaughn was a former employee at Microsoft. He worked at the company for nearly nine years, starting as a senior consultant before climbing the ranks and becoming a group programme manager.
