MCU fans, rejoice: Marvel Studios has just released the debut trailer for their forthcoming film Thunderbolts, and it’s every bit as riveting as you’d expect. As the final film in Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase Five, Thunderbolts is slated for release in May next year – TV series Ironheart will follow in 2025 – and boy, is it going to be a hard wait.
The trailer shows the beloved characters in a chaotic showdown in which a new character steals the spotlight. That captivating character is Sentry – often referred to as Marvel’s answer to Superman – who goes by the unassuming name of Bob and who appears flummoxed by the clash unfolding in front of him.
Lewis Pullman’s dad, Bill Pullman, is a Hollywood star
Lewis Pullman is the youngest son of renowned actor Bill Pullman, known for classic 90s blockbusters including Independence Day (1996) and While You Were Sleeping (1995); and his wife, Tamara Hurwitz, a modern dancer and choreographer.
Despite his own extensive acting career, Pullman Sr thinks of his son as the better actor; and although initially hesitant to lean on his father for career advice, Lewis quickly changed his mind once he realised “it was incredibly foolish not to utilise this remarkable resource that I had who happened to be my dad”, per People. He now heeds his father’s “invaluable” advice often.
