Who is nepo baby Preston Bezos, Jeff Bezos’s eldest son with MacKenzie Scott? The MIT grad was spotted at Nobu with future stepmum Lauren Sánchez – who calls her blended family ‘the Brady Bunch’

The poster child of generational wealth, Preston Bezos, eldest son of Amazon founder and former CEO Jeff Bezos and his ex-wife, novelist MacKenzie Scott, stands to inherit billions from his parents. Yet, he is known for being an academic, superintelligent young man who remains largely out of the public eye.

Bezos shares two other biological sons with Scott, as well as a daughter the couple adopted from China. His current fiancée, Emmy-winning journalist turned children’s book author Lauren Sánchez, has three children from her previous relationships. She shares her eldest son Nikko with former NFL player Tony Gonzalez, and son Evan and daughter Ella with her ex-husband, businessman Patrick Whitesell.

Sánchez once revealed to the Wall Street Journal that her blended family was like “the Brady Bunch” and more recently, told Extra that her husband-to-be loves her kids. Likewise, Sánchez spends time with Bezos’ children, as she was seen doing earlier this year when she and her fiancé holidayed in Greece with Preston.

The 2000-born scion’s name is a marker of his family’s heritage. His father’s middle name is Preston – a name Jeff Bezos inherited from his maternal grandfather and great-grandfather.

Preston Bezos reportedly attended Princeton University, like both of his parents. He was also rumoured to have studied at MIT, after his famous dad was spotted attending the university’s commencement ceremony with Sánchez in 2022. Preston’s name appears on the MIT class of 2022 graduates list, according to which he earned a bachelor of science in humanities and engineering from the prestigious university.
