Meet Sarah Jane Ramos, baby mama and fiancée to NFL star Dak Prescott: she seems to prefer watching ice hockey … and why that US$1 million engagement ring got Dallas Cowboys fans all riled up at first
Ramos, who hails from Florida, is a wine and spirits specialist, a Tampa Bay Lightning superfan, and a golfer – it was on the green that Prescott popped the question
NFL star Dak Prescott is stepping into a new chapter of his life. The Dallas Cowboys quarterback proposed to his girlfriend and baby mama, Sarah Jane Ramos, during the Dallas Cowboys’ bye week with a stunning 10-carat emerald-cut sparkler worth US$1 million and even enlisted his little one’s help to pop the question. In a carousel post of photos shared by the football player on Instagram, the couple’s eight-month-old daughter, Margaret Jane “MJ” Rose, can be seen dressed in an adorable onesie that reads, “Hi Mommy, Daddy has a question for you!?” Then, Prescott got down on one knee and pulled out the rock of anyone’s dreams.
Of course, she said yes – and the loved-up pair broke out the champagne. Declaring his love for his future wife to his nearly 2.3 million followers, Prescott captioned the post, “Mine forever!!!! The best friend, partner, teammate, mother, and now fiancée I could ask or pray for! Thank you God for this blessing and family! I love you @sarahjane 4ever!”
So just who is Dak Prescott’s fiancée, Sarah Jane Ramos? Here’s everything to know about the woman who stole the Cowboy’s heart.
She’s from Florida
Ramos hails from Tampa Bay, Florida. Her Instagram bio contains the Italian, Cuban and British flags – a nod, perhaps, to her mixed ancestry. She attended Florida State University, per People, where she studied criminalistics and criminal science. However, her current profession is far from her academic qualification.
What does she do for work?
According to Ramos’ Instagram bio, she is a certified wine and spirits specialist. She worked as a bartender at Marriott Hotels before joining Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits in the sales department. She then moved on to work with Moët Hennessy and Diageo as a specialist, but returned to Wine & Spirits as an on-premise area manager.
