October is breast cancer awareness month – and a prominent star is sharing her story.
Fischer thanked best friend and The Office co-star Angela Kinsey (who plays Angela on the show) for her constant support, as well as Kinsey’s husband, Josh Snyder, for taking the photo of her. The actress looked radiant with what she calls a “patchy pixie” haircut and a “happy and healthy” smile. She’s also raising awareness about the importance of regular examinations and annual mammograms.
She expressed gratitude for her husband, who she said stood by her through the “surgeries, chemotherapy, doctor appointments, endless Googling” and “late-night ugly cries”, adding that he was “there for it all”.
“I knew he was a catch when I married him,” she added.
