One resurfaced clip had fans shocked as it showed the rapper introducing his “adopted” daughter, Ava Baroni. “My name’s Ava. I’m a Scorpio,” the teen says in the vid, before stating her name as “Ava Combs”, and then “Ava Baroni” after his probing.
“I adopted you because I felt that you could enjoy also having a Black parent to take care of you and help you out,” Diddy says, noting that he had “permission” from Baroni’s mother.
In the disturbing video, Diddy kisses the young girl on the cheek as she calls him “Papa Combs” and explains how she met his twin daughters D’Lila and Jessie when she was very young.
However, TMZ later confirmed that Sean “Diddy” Combs had never legally adopted Ava and that the clip was actually a skit.
It’s unclear where Baroni is today, though it’s likely she’s keeping a low profile especially considering Diddy’s legal woes.
