Meet Whitney Leavitt: The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives ‘villain’ is a full-time influencer who’s been involved in multiple controversies, from ‘soft swinging’ to promoting Bellesa adult toys
The MomToker faced backlash in 2022 for a video of her dancing in hospital with her sick infant son; she’s now expecting her third child with husband Conner, who admitted to using Tinder while married
The rebellious Mormon mothers have ignited a firestorm with references to sex, gambling and alcohol throughout the show. But the series begins with a bang as the eight main stars deal with a scandal about “soft swinging” (practising swinging, or ethical non-monogamy, without going “all the way”) within their close-knit circle. The practice, while blurring the lines of intimacy between friends and spouses, is meant to put the kibosh on full-fledged affairs.
Of the eight women on the show, Whitney Leavitt has earned titles like “the worst” and “the villain” thanks to her attention-grabbing – and scene-stealing – antics. But who is she, and why does she attract so much online ire?
She was brought up in the Mormon church in Utah
Whitney Leavitt, 31, hails from Utah and was raised in the Mormon faith. She got engaged to now-husband Conner Leavitt, 30, in April 2016 while on holiday in Hawaii and the pair tied the knot just a few months later.
Leavitt graduated from Brigham Young University in 2018. The university was founded by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which is also known as the Mormon church.
