Who is Meghan Markle’s charitable bestie, Kelly McKee Zajfen? The Duchess of Sussex held hands with the non-profit founder – who called her and Prince Harry a ‘guiding light’ – at a recent event
When Kelly McKee Zajfen lost her 9-year-old son in 2022, she was devastated – but her long time friend Meghan Markle stepped up to help, and Zajfen has since said she’s ‘in awe’ of the duchess
Meghan Markle was joined by her long-time friend Kelly McKee Zajfen at a charity event for the Los Angeles Children’s Hospital on Saturday, as reported by Hello! Magazine.
The two besties were all smiles as they held hands and giggled for the cameras while posing on the red carpet.
“My deepest gratitude to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles for the extraordinary care they give to our daughter Lily,” Zajfen wrote in a caption for her post about the event on Instagram. She added, “I was also beyond grateful to share in this beautiful evening with one of my closest friends. Meg, your commitment to supporting Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and community is truly inspiring. I’m so grateful to have you by my side.”
Markle and Zajfen have known each other for years.
Not only do they go on holidays and attend events together, but they also support one another through thick and thin.
