Meet Tylil James, the TikTokker who was in a video with North West – Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s daughter – and was embroiled in drama between his sister and Michael Rainey Jr.
- James has racked up an impressive online following across multiple social media platforms since 2021, and recently hopped on the ‘Just Give Me My Money’ viral trend in a video with North West
- He’s also pals with Ice Spice, and the pair filmed a clip featuring Kanye West’s track, ‘Violent Crimes’ – but why did he ban his sister from his live-streams?
Per TMZ, the 11-year-old was enjoying a night out at chic Asian fusion eatery Sei Less in New York with her mum’s long-time bestie, Lala Anthony. While dining, they crossed paths with West’s favourite TikTokker, Tylil James, who was reportedly having a meal with rapper Rubi Rose.
The four of them decided to film the quirky “Just Give Me My Money” trend, which sees participants adopt peculiar and humorous voices to say “just give me my money” one by one, culminating in applause – until the final participant, who is greeted by a deafening silence which hangs in the air like a veil of awkwardness.
So who exactly is Tylil James – and why does North West admire him so much?
