Michelle Dockery and her husband Jasper Waller-Bridge (yup, he’s related to Fleabag’s Phoebe Waller-Bridge) just celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary, after tying the knot in an ultra-private ceremony in September last year.

According to Hello! Magazine, the low-key couple said their vows in a beautiful ceremony in Chiswick, West London. Although details around the lovebirds’ nuptials remain hush-hush, fans were lucky enough to get a glimpse of the Downton Abbey star’s head-turning bridal gown by Emilia Wickstead – a brand that’s adored by royals like Kate Middleton too.

Dockery and Waller-Bridge met in 2019, and announced their engagement via a statement in The Times in 2022. “The engagement is announced between Jasper, son of Michael Waller-Bridge of King’s Lynn, Norfolk, and Teresa Waller-Bridge of Battersea, London, and Michelle Dockery, younger daughter of Michael and Lorraine Dockery of Gidea Park, Essex,” it wrote.

Jasper Waller-Bridge and his two older sisters, Phoebe and Isobel Waller-Bridge were raised by their parents, Teresa and Michael Waller-Bridge, in Ealing, London, according to Britannica. The Waller-Bridge siblings’ parents divorced when Phoebe was a teenager, adds the source.

Jasper’s sister Phoebe is a well-known actress and screenwriter, who has starred in Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny and Solo: A Star Wars Story, and worked behind the scenes on the award-winning TV show, Killing Eve. Isobel, meanwhile, is an award winning composer for films including Emma and Munich – The Edge of War.
