Kirsten Dunst was just spotted enjoying a rare public outing with her little brother, Christian Dunst. On September 20, the siblings turned heads when they appeared together at the Gucci women’s spring/summer 2025 fashion show during Milan Fashion Week.
The actress talked about why she had decided to bring her little brother rather than her husband, Jesse Plemons, to the event this time. “We both needed a brother-sister getaway,” she told W Magazine. “Jesse stayed home with the kids. Someone had to.”

Christian was born to Inez Rupprecht and Klaus Dunst in 1987 and Kirsten is his only sister. According to The Guardian, Christian and Kirsten’s mother Inez Rupprecht is Swedish and used to work as a flight attendant for Lufthansa, while their German father Klaus was a medical services executive.

When you do a Google search of “Christian Dunst”, pretty much all the results point to his famous sibling Kirsten, whose name is very similar. “It’s so embarrassing,” Kirsten told W Magazine when asked about the closeness between their names. “Especially when we do interviews and I have to be like, ‘Hi, I’m Kirsten. This is Christian.’ It’s the same name.”
