Who is Robert F. Kennedy Jr’s activist niece, Grace Kennedy Allen – and why wasn’t he at her pre-wedding festivities?
As rumours circulate about RFK Jr’s alleged affair with reporter Olivia Nuzzi, the American politician was notably absent from his niece Grace Kennedy Allen’s pre-wedding celebrations
Amid rumours of Robert F. Kennedy Jr’s alleged affair with reporter Olivia Nuzzi, the American politician did not attend his niece Grace Kennedy Allen’s pre-wedding celebrations on Saturday, according to Page Six.
It’s perhaps not surprising that he’s been laying low since the news emerged – though it hasn’t seemed to affect family plans. As seen in pictures obtained by Page Six, RFK’s 30-year-old niece went jumping into Hyannis Harbour in Massachusetts during a rainstorm with her cousins and other relatives, as part of her pre-wedding festivities before her upcoming wedding. It’s unclear whether the former US presidential candidate will attend her nuptials.
Here’s what we know about the lesser-known millennial Kennedy:
Who are Grace Kennedy Allen’s parents?
Grace Kennedy Allen is the daughter of Kara Kennedy – the daughter of former US senator Ted Kennedy – and Kara’s ex-husband Michael Allen. Kara was also the niece of former US president John F. Kennedy and Robert F. Kennedy. As reported by The New York Times, Kara died in 2011 at the age of just 51, after suffering from a heart attack while working out a health club in Washington.
Grace has a younger brother – 27-year-old Max Greathouse Allen.
