Meet Demi Lovato’s sister Madison De La Garza: she played Eva Longoria’s daughter on Desperate Housewives, and now she’s going to be a mum herself

Wisteria Lane is getting a brand new baby. Madison De La Garza, the younger half-sister to singer Demi Lovato, is expecting her first child with boyfriend, The Bold and Beautiful actor Ryan Mitchell. The news dropped on September 5 in an Instagram post in which the 22-year-old shared her excitement over the impending arrival. “Oh, Ryan, how I love you,” De La Garza gushed. “Thank you for making all of my dreams come true. Baby Mitchell 10.24.”

The actress is best known for her childhood role as Juanita Solis on ABC drama Desperate Housewives. She last made an on-screen appearance in the 2023 short Obviously.

The Instagram carousel didn’t just feature the parents-to-be. In another photo, older half-sisters Demi and Dallas Lovato, and mum Dianna De La Garza, all posed with their hands on Madison’s baby bump. Demi was quick to shower her sister with love, commenting, “I love you. And this baby so much already!!”

Madison De La Garza is Demi Lovato’s younger half-sister

Texas native Madison was born on December 28, 2001, to Eddie and Dianna De La Garza. Dianna is also the mother of pop superstar Demi Lovato. As the singer’s younger half-sister, Madison quickly became accustomed to life in the limelight. And while the pair may have different fathers, they clearly share a tight sisterly bond.

She made her TV debut at just six years old

De La Garza’s big break came in 2008, when she was cast in hit ABC series Desperate Housewives. She played Juanita Solis, daughter to Eva Longoria’s Gabrielle Solis, until the show’s end in 2012. She later appeared in other TV shows like Good Luck Charlie, Bad Teacher and American Koko, as well as several animated projects, including the 2017 film Gnome Alone.
