Robert De Niro’s daughter Drena celebrated her dad’s recent birthday with a series of photos and videos of the legendary actor – including a clip of him doing a backflip off a boat

In mid August, Robert De Niro’s daughter Drena celebrated her dad’s birthday with a series of #TBT photos and videos of the legendary actor on Instagram – including a clip of him jumping 36 feet from a boat into the sea.

“Happy 81st Bday to my Dad and #1 ride or die. Love you with all my heart. #BobbyD forever. All pics and vids #tbts,” she wrote in the caption below a selection of photos of the Taxi Driver star from years gone by.

Three days later she posted two more photos – one of her and her dad at a relatively recent event, and another of the pair of them in Sicily during filming of The Godfather Part II in the 1970s. De Niro’s birthday was on August 17.

Drena, De Niro’s eldest daughter, is clearly very proud of her father’s achievements both as a family man and in his decades-long career.
