The 28-year-old country singer took to his Instagram Stories to clap back at a critic who made derogatory comments about his upbringing, before deleting his social media account altogether, per British media.
According to Taste of Country, an anonymous netizen claimed that Bryan was an example of someone who wasn’t disciplined as a child. “Zach Bryan is what happens when you don’t discipline your kids,” they shared. The Prime Time Country Music Instagram account then re-shared the comment alongside a photo of Bryan’s September 2023 arrest.
“I pray you pieces of trash that don’t even have your name attached to these accounts know how much worse the world is with you in them,” he added. “Don’t ever insult my parents, don’t ever insult anyone’s parents.”
