Dome, who worked as a cardiac nurse and left during the pandemic for mental health reasons, revealed recently on her podcast The Squeeze that she found a lump on her breast – but it was a false alarm

If you’re a millennial who grew up at the peak of Twilight mania, your heart might have broken when you learned that Taylor Lautner – who played werewolf Jacob Black in the films – got engaged to his girlfriend Taylor Dome in November 2021.

The two Taylors, however, quickly won fans over. Dome lives a relatively quiet life away from showbiz: she’s a nurse, a Swiftie and – much to fans’ surprise, on Team Edward.

She’s also recently faced a health scare: on a July 3 episode of her podcast The Squeeze, she revealed she discovered a concerning lump on her breast, sparking fears of breast cancer given her family history. Fortunately, the lump turned out to be nothing but a false alarm.

Taylor Dome is a registered nurse

Dome graduated from the College of the Canyons in California in December 2019, thanking Lautner for his support during her schooling on Instagram. Dome kicked off her nursing career as a cardiac nurse at a hospital in Los Angeles, in 2020.

During Nurse’s Week on May 2021, in the midst of the pandemic, Dome made an Instagram shoutout to health professionals everywhere, thanking them for their tireless work and service to others.

It is unclear whether she still works as a nurse today though, as her bio on The Lemons Foundation website states that she left her job during the pandemic due to “depression, anxiety and severe PTSD”.
