Princess Madeleine of Sweden is moving home! After living in the United States for six years, the royal announced on her 42nd birthday earlier this month that the family will be returning to Sweden.
This shift was planned early last year, but later postponed to 2024. Per Expressen, the family is moving “in stages”, with Princess Madeleine and her children recently landing in Stockholm.

Her Royal Highness Princess Madeleine of Sweden, Duchess of Hälsingland and Gästrikland is the youngest child of King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia, and eighth in line for the Swedish throne, after Crown Princess Victoria, Princess Estelle, Prince Oscar, Prince Carl Philip, Prince Alexander, Prince Gabriel and Prince Julian.
Where is Princess Madeleine now?
Princess Madeleine has been living with her family in Miami, Florida in the US – until now. After the big move, the family of five will be living in the princess’ home city of Stockholm. Previously, the royals have lived in London and New York, per Hello!
What will happen to Princess Madeleine’s Florida home?
Per Hello!, the royal family has sold their gorgeous seven-bedroom, eight-bathroom, 7,000-sq ft Florida mansion for US$7 million. Once back in Stockholm, they will reportedly take up permanent residence in a Royal Stables flat, per France 24.
