On the surface of it, Lana Del Rey and Kim Kardashian don’t have much in common.

But as we learned in an interview the pair gave on the 2024 Met Gala red carpet earlier this year, there’s one thing they do share – a set of supportive siblings they do everything with.

After Kardashian talked about how she was excited to see her reality TV sisters at the event, Dey Rey chimed in: “That makes me so happy. This day and age that’s so rare – I have my sister who was shooting everything with us at the hotel, my brother taking video. So then when our families worked together for Skims I was so thrilled.”

According to People, Lana Del Rey, whose real name is Elizabeth Woolridge Grant, grew up with her siblings Caroline and Charlie in upstate New York.

“Where we lived in the Adirondacks was very small, like 1,100 people,” Del Rey told Nylon in 2013. She also talked about her family trips to Florida. “I remember driving over all of the bridges and seeing all of the flashing lights and more and more people and being absolutely thrilled at the possibility of all these things I could do when I grew up,” she said.

Del Rey’s younger sister Caroline, more commonly referred to as “Chuck”, is also a creative. Per People, she works as a photographer. Her Instagram showcases some of the celebrities she has photographed, including Lily Collins, and of course her sister. According to People, Chuck is dating Jason Pickens, with whom she shares a daughter.

Del Rey’s LA-based brother seems to be much more low key than his sisters, but he’s just as creative. Per The Face, his main career to date may have been in property, but he’s also a passionate filmmaker.

It’s clear that the Grant siblings are super close. Not only do they regularly share photos of each other, but they’ve also collaborated on various projects.

In fact, one project in particular shows the siblings getting closer than you might expect. Back in 2014, an image went viral of Del Rey kissing a woman who looked like Jennifer Lawrence. However, it turned out to be Del Rey’s sister.

“Getting a lot of messages about looking like Jennifer Lawrence, but this takes it a bit too far, don’t you think?” Chuck wrote on the photo that was first shared in 2012, per The Independent.
