Bill Skarsgård is set to reprise his role as Pennywise in an It prequel series called Welcome to Derry, Deadline reported on May 30. The HBO Max production is due for release in 2025, according to IMDB.
The Skarsgård family name is likely to be familiar to anyone who pays attention to Hollywood movie credits, with Alexander, Gustaf and patriarch Stellan Skarsgård all already household names thanks to productions such as Succession (Alexander), Dune (Stellan) and Oppenheimer (Gustaf).
