Australian star Chris Hemsworth married his Spanish model girlfriend Elsa Pataky in 2010 – and the Hollywood power couple became dedicated parents to their three children: daughter India Rose and twin sons Sasha and Tristan.
Hemsworth, known for his role as Thor in the Marvel Universe, values a humble upbringing. “I grew up with very little money, but my parents were my absolute heroes. They were respectful, kind human beings and operated in a way that was constantly inspiring and nurturing and kind,” the 40-year-old actor told People in 2017.

The Hemsworth children have already taken small steps into show business, appearing in Thor: Love & Thunder and showing a keen interest in their father’s stunts. The twins also joined their parents on the red carpet for the Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga premiere in May, dressed in matching suits and trainers.

1. India Rose Hemsworth
Chris and Pataky, 47, named their eldest child and only daughter India Rose. “It was just a name we liked. I always kind of liked Indie or Indiana for a boy and she liked India,” Hemsworth explained in an interview with E! News.
India appeared in her father’s 2022 film Thor: Love & Thunder playing the character of Love, the daughter of Gorr, portrayed by Christian Bale. During a chat with reporter Kevin McCarthy, Chris described his kids’ involvement in the film as a “one-off fun family experience” aimed at making special memories rather than launching their acting careers. Hemsworth told Entertainment Tonight that what was meant to be a brief cameo for India expanded as the film’s storyline evolved.
