You may not have heard of Nichapat Suphap, but chances are you’ve seen plenty of the top Thai stars she and her management company represent overseas. Suphap is founder of The Venture Management, an editor and brand consultant, according to Women’s Wear Daily, and she’s working with stars that generate more than US$20 million media value in the spring/summer 2024 season alone.
Riding the wave that is the Thai entertainment scene, Suphap launched her agency last year to represent a handful of the hottest faces from the country.
As an agent to the stars, Suphap is a celebrity in her own right. After graduate school in New York, she worked at department stores Macy’s and Bloomingdale’s as a management trainee, and for brands Roberto Cavalli and Stella McCartney, per Vogue. She also worked as a freelance fashion consultant and brand scout later in her career. Her experience in fashion eventually led to contributing roles at Thai editions of international fashion titles, including Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar, per WWD.
It was through her work contributing to various magazines that she found her true calling. As a fashion journalist, Suphap was able to attend fashion events and become friends with industry insiders and designers along the way.
