8 celebrities with their own vineyards and wineries: from Donald Trump and the Beckhams to Brad Pitt, Madonna, Cameron Diaz, Dwayne Wade and Cara Delevingne – who started her own Prosecco brand
STORYSarah Keenlyside
- Some stars – like Madonna and Keira Knightley – have been in the wine game for years, while Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie bought the vineyard they got married at while they were still together
- Cameron Diaz created her own organic brand after finding that most wines contain additives, while Dwayne Wade is so committed he’s on the executive board of UC Davis’ School of Viticulture and Enology
When a sports car or a new home just isn’t enough, many of the world’s richest celebrities decide to splash out on something altogether more extravagant: a whole winery.
The Delevingne sisters decided to create their own Italian Prosecco brand because the tipple “has always been our [family] ritual”, per Harper’s Bazaar, while Donald Trump bought an entire vineyard for his son Eric to preside over.
Here are eight famous people who invested in a big way in the wine business.
1. Madonna

Just as she’s an OG music veteran, Madonna isn’t new to the wine game either. In fact, her father Silvio Ciccone started the family vineyard in Michigan almost 30 years ago and it’s been their passion ever since. Last year, however, they decided to sell, and the vineyard is now on the market for an impressive US$4.9 million, per OK!
2. David and Victoria Beckham
According to CBS News, David Beckham bought a vineyard in Napa Valley for Victoria Beckham’s birthday in 2008. It wasn’t long after the footballer had moved to LA Galaxy, so perhaps – in light of the recent Netflix documentary – it was something of a peace offering. The Inter Miami owner reportedly paid a seven figure sum for it, per the same source.
3. Cameron Diaz
Cameron Diaz joined forces with her friend Katherine Power in 2020 to produce the most unadulterated wine they could. The actress once told InStyle she was horrified to discover that the average wine can have over 70 additives in it, or worse.
