Before Prince Andrew was exposed as having connections to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, the youngest son of the late Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip was already known for being controversial – with numerous UK media reports referring to him as the “party prince” over the years.

He has been linked to a string of women during his time in the public eye. One sensationalist revelation from a “long-time friend” in British tabloids even suggested the Duke of York had slept with “way over a thousand” women.

1. Koo Stark

According to Town & Country, Stark, who was understudying for a production of Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf at the National Theatre in London, met Andrew in the early 1980s via mutual friends.

They reportedly started dating not long after meeting, and Stark would spend time at Buckingham Palace and Balmoral. The pair split after 18 months together, according to the magazine.
