Stellato played on the Marist College football team before becoming the ‘Italian Stallion’ of sports agents, and has been inducted into Italian-American Sports Hall of Fame

He is also the founder of Stellato Sports and has represented athletes such as Joe Vellano, Shaun Draughn, Tye Smith and Alfred Morris

Fedora: check. Pinstripe suit: check. Chunky gold bracelet: check. Pacing up and down making calls: check. Godfather? Nah, just a sports agent. Meet Sean Stellato, the Italian-American who has garnered a cult following as the “Godfather of NFL”.

Sure, NFL star Tommy DeVito’s profile exploded when he more than impressed with his skills for the New York Giants, as an undrafted local free agent. But why is his agent, Stellato, getting just as much limelight?

Let us introduce you to Sean Stellato.

Sean Stellato is a former athlete

He may be representing athletes now, but Stellato knows what it’s like to put it all on the line for sport. He was raised in Salem, Massachusetts and attended Marist College, per People. During his time there, he was a wide receiver on the sponsored football team.

Per his website, he was chosen to be part of the Maac all-academic team for football and basketball. He also played in the Arena Football League for a few seasons and became a sports agent to stay close to the game.
