After posting a cryptic image on her Instagram stories featuring a mystery man – presumed to be producer Benny Blanco – Gomez confirmed the relationship by commenting on a Pop Factions’ post that claimed they could be dating. “Facts”, she simply wrote underneath.

One troll commented that Gomez was showing a “lack of self-love” for dating Blanco. “Oh sweetheart,” Gomez replied. “I’ve been in therapy since I was 18. I know what’s best for me and I will fight till I get what I deserve. I appreciate your misguided input but I’m growing. Don’t feel free to grow with me just know I’m not going to be with a f***boy ever again. Sorry to disappoint.”

A different netizen wrote, “he is so unhandsome”, to which Gomez clapped back, “[I] feel bad for you”.

Benny Blanco, 35, is one of the biggest names in the music biz. Although he is known as an acclaimed producer, he’s also an artist in his own right and released his debut single “Eastside” in 2018 with Halsey and Khalid, per People.
He has worked with musicians including Katy Perry, Britney Spears, Rihanna, Maroon 5, Kanye West and Ed Sheeran – but also Gomez’s exes, The Weeknd and Justin Bieber, People reports. He’s also collaborated with Gomez herself and the pair created a song together, “I Can’t Get Enough”.

The entrepreneur founded two record labels in collaboration with Interscope Records: Mad Love Records and Friends Keep Secrets, per his profile on the website.
