Britney Spears has just been pictured for the first time since the release of her memoir The Woman in Me, British media has reported.
The “Toxic” songstress, 41, went on an outing with long-time pal and manager Cade Hudson as they headed to dinner at Hollywood hotspot Chateau Marmont.
Days before the sighting, Hudson stood up for his close friend, now a New York Times bestselling author, following a Saturday Night Live sketch that gently poked fun at Spears’ recent memoir.
“SNL is on life support. You are all pathetic and this Chloe isn’t even funny”, he wrote about the show’s skit that saw comedian Chloe Fineman impersonating Spears.
In fact, Hudson is the very first person Spears thanks in her book’s acknowledgements section, crediting him for being one of the people who worked hardest to “bring her [her] memoir into the world”.
On Tuesday, Spears shared a photo on Instagram that had fans confused. “This is my uncle!!! What if his back is my face???” she captioned the pic of a shirtless man taking a mirror selfie showing his back. The “mystery man” in her now-deleted Instagram post was revealed to be Hudson, according to TMZ.
Here’s what you need to know about the singer’s long-time supporter, Cade Hudson.
