The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree!
Although Apple seems more inclined towards singing (like her dad, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin) over acting, she certainly seems to have inherited her mum’s sense of style.
Let’s take a look at the Los Angeles-based youngster’s best matching fashion looks with her Marvel mama.
1. The Oscars 2002 dress
Earlier this month, Paltrow took to Instagram to respond to some fan-submitted queries from her inbox.
One of the questions was: “Does Apple wear any of your fashion archives?”
Paltrow’s Instagram Story reply showed that she does indeed. The 50-year-old responded by sharing a pic of her daughter sporting her infamous 2002 Oscars dress from Alexander McQueen. Fitted with a sheer bodice and a voluminous black taffeta skirt, the gothic gown initially received backlash with critics calling it “unflattering” and a “fashion disaster” when Paltrow wore it over two decades ago, per The Independent.
In 2013, the health guru stated to Marie Claire, “There were a few issues; I still love the dress itself but I should have worn a bra and I should have just had simple beachy hair and less make-up.”
