The 95th Academy Awards’ champagne carpet was filled with fashion looks to die for, from X-Men star Fan Bingbing in sparkling Tony Ward Couture to nominee Cate Blanchett in vintage Louis Vuitton

White and metallics abounded, such as Jessica Chastain’s custom silver crystal Gucci dress, while Dwayne Johnson went for a soft pink blazer

When the Oscars aired this year, we couldn’t look away.

The 95th Academy Awards on Sunday were filled with history-making moments, from Everything Everywhere All At Once sweeping seven awards to Ruth E. Carter becoming the first Black woman to win two Oscars, and RRR’s Naatu Naatu the first Indian film track to winning best original song.

But the fashion took our breath away too. Fan Bingbing made a regal entrance in sparkling silver and emerald green on the champagne carpet. Hong Chau wore a high-neck pink Prada column gown with a feathery black train and Malala Yousafzai worked the hood of her silver sparkler from Ralph Lauren like a pro.

While Fan looked like a queen, Sofia Carson was a princess in white custom Giambattista Valli haute couture. A stunning statement diamond and emerald necklace accented her ball gown with its off-shoulder, form-fitting bodice and delicate diamond-shaped cut-out at the centre. Her jewels were by Chopard, including 122.49 carats of emeralds and 92.57 carats of diamonds.
