Hip, chic and always style savvy, Blackpink’s Jennie is inarguably one of this generation’s top fashion icons, and one of the most followed, too – with at least 73 million fans on her Instagram to boot.

Whether she is performing onstage or spending her days off hanging out with her bandmates, en route to a world tour or shooting an ad or music video, Jennie lives and breathes fashion as much as she does music. She’s been a long-time muse of Chanel (earning her the nickname “Human Chanel”), is part of Calvin Klein’s star-studded set of global ambassadors and represents Korean luxury eyewear brand Gentle Monster, to name a few.

The 27-year-old is a fashion favourite of brands from all over the world. Why? It has to be due to how she looks effortlessly cool in whatever she wears, setting trends and making pieces sell out.

But what other designer labels does Jennie wear, aside from Chanel?

1. Jacquemus

In December 2022, despite having a packed schedule with her band’s Born Pink tour in France, Jennie made time to attend Le Raphia, Jacquemus’ spring/summer 2023 show, held just right outside Paris, per Hypebae. She appeared clad in a cream-coloured ensemble from the brand.

A friend of the designer, Simon Porte Jacquemus, per Allkpop, Jennie was also present at the show’s after-party. Previously, the singer had also graced the Jacquemus spring 2022 show in Hawaii, wearing a sultry, made-for-summer checkered and striped all-pink look.

2. Marine Serre

Jennie shares this favoured brand with other K-pop idols-slash-style stars, such as Sandara Park, the members of Red Velvet, Itzy and (G)I-dle, as well as her Blackpink bandmates, to name a few, who’ve all been seen donning the iconic crescent moon-clad print in snazzy renditions made for the stage.

Off-duty, Jennie also wore the brand’s cotton tea towel top to watch Coachella – a fashion statement that sent a strong message, as the piece retails for only about US$500 and is made of upcycled and recycled fabric, per Koreaboo. Of course, the style has sold out, as seen on multiple stockists.

3. Alaïa

Fashion fans may recall the brand when Alicia Silverstone’s Cher wore its red-hot party dress in the 1995 film Clueless, or they may be rediscovering the wonders of Azzedine Alaïa’s romantic and bold form-flattering clothes through Jennie.

In Blackpink’s “Pink Venom” music video, Jennie wore a fiery-red, sheer, cheetah-print custom Alaïa – a bodysuit and dress with a mask up to her nose. In the past, the singer’s casual outfits have also included pieces from Alaïa.

4. Alexander Wang

K-pop idols known for their daring outfits wear Alexander Wang too, such as singer-rapper and style star CL (also Jennie’s former YG label-mate), who chose to wear the brand to the Met Gala in 2021, and Hyuna who wore denim cutoffs from the brand in her “I’m Not Cool” video.

Channelling the label’s cool, hip vibe, Jennie has likewise worn the designer’s casual pieces in her laid-back, offstage looks, such as the crumpled logo crop top that sold out on multiple websites soon after she posted it, per Koreaboo.

5. Mugler

The label’s extravagant, well-constructed and out-of-the-ordinary pieces are meant for big moments, such as Blackpink’s much-awaited comeback. For the teaser of the band’s “Pink Venom” single, all the members, Jisoo, Jennie, Lisa and Rosé, were clad in custom Mugler, as revealed by the brand.
