1. Bee venom facials
The royals are said to favour the stingy treatment from English beautician Deborah Mitchell. She is said to use only fresh venom, per Vogue Australia, which can mimic the effects of a bee sting, resulting in increased collagen production, better blood circulation and boosted anti-ageing properties for the skin.
2. LED light therapy
3. Lancaster sun cream
4. Bespoke fragrances by Floris London
Heritage fragrance brand Floris London was granted a royal warrant in 1820 and has since held a long-standing history with the British royal family. Truly, the most luxurious way to indulge in a scent is to have one made especially for you.
5. John Bell & Croyden
Its website notes being first granted the royal warrant in 1909, on behalf of King George V. They then held “the royal warrant as pharmacists to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth” for over 60 years, from 1958 to 2022.
According to pharmacy news website C+D, John Bell & Croyden has produced the anointing oil used in the coronation of King George V and Queen Elizabeth. It’s reportedly an oil that contains a mix of orange, roses, cinnamon, musk and ambergris.
The same report also discloses the Duke of Wellington and Florence Nightingale among its past clients, along with other wealthy and A-list individuals who frequent the pharmacy for various healthcare and wellness needs. Per Vogue Arabia, the pharmacy’s prescription records reveal volumes devoted to the lotions and potions of princesses alone.
