STORYSCMP Style Reporter
- Jackson Yee, aka Yi Yangqianxi, was in boy band TFBoys at only 12 and later took the leading role in Hong Kong drama Better Days, which was nominated for best international film at the 2021 Oscars
- Jaeger-LeCoultre’s list of global ambassadors is star-studded indeed, including Anya Taylor-Joy, Amanda Seyfried, Nicholas Hoult, Kim Woo-bin, Fala Chen and Camille Razat
Jaeger-LeCoultre only selects the brightest and best to be its global ambassadors – and with the latest illustrious name to sign up, Jackson Yee, it’s really hit the jackpot. The multitalented actor, singer and dancer, also known as Yi Yangqianxi, might only be 21, but he’s been established as one of the brightest rising stars in the global entertainment industry since he was a child.
In fact, he made his showbiz debut aged just five, and started to gain fame as a teenager, when he became a member of the boy band TFBoys. But it is as an actor that he has found the most acclaim, for a number of historical drama and fantasy films and TV series, and in particular for his leading role in 2018 school bullying drama Better Days, directed by Hong Kong’s Derek Tsang Kwok-cheung, which was nominated for best international film at the 2021 Oscars.
In addition to his professional achievements, he is also known for his dedication to philanthropic work. Among the many worthy causes he has personally supported – disaster relief, sustainable development, the preservation of cultural heritage, and poverty alleviation among underprivileged rural children – he established the Jackson Yee Fund in 2017 to help with the latter.

He joins a star-studded list of Jaeger-LeCoultre ambassadors and friends of the house, which includes a host of other prominent actors, such as Fala Chen, Kim Woo-bin, Anya Taylor-Joy, Amanda Seyfried, Nicholas Hoult and Camille Razat.
For his first photo shoot as a Jaeger-LeCoultre ambassador, Yee chose to wear a recent addition to the brand’s line-up that nonetheless embodies the aesthetics codes that have long distinguished it: the Reverso Tribute Duoface Calendar in pink gold.
Combining two complications for which Jaeger-LeCoultre is particularly renowned, the triple calendar and the Duoface, it features the art deco styling typical of the Reverso, a collection first introduced in 1931 with a reversible face designed for benefit of polo players.
In other words, it’s a watch every bit as stylish as the man who wears it.
