Constance Wu spoke about her suicide attempt
Constance Wu, an actress and author who most may recognise from Crazy Rich Asians, spoke with Markle about her personal experiences with mental health, including her suicide attempt three years ago after receiving backlash for since-deleted tweets where she expressed frustration about her Fresh Off the Boat TV series being renewed.
She previously opened up about the backlash in a statement shared on Twitter in July, where she wrote that the “scary moment” made her reassess a lot in her life, and put her career aside for the last three years to focus on her mental health.
