Who is Bryce Maximus James, LeBron James’ 15-year-old son? His dad is a billionaire NBA legend but the TikToker turned heads too, with his growth spurt and basketball scholarship
- His dad described him as ‘the best shooter’ in their household and he’s part of California Basketball Club with his brother Bronny and the sons of Penny Hardaway and Scottie Pippen
- Off the court, Bryce has a strong fan base of 1 million followers on Instagram and 1.2 million on TikTok … but otherwise lives like a normal teen who enjoys teasing his superstar dad
Bryce drew the attention of NBA fans when he announced on his Instagram Story that he was offered a Division I scholarship to play basketball at Duquesne University.
His No 1 fan, no other than his dad, couldn’t contain his excitement and wrote on his Instagram Story, all in capital letters: “Ayyyeee!!! Let’s go Maximus @_justbryce.”
The 15 year old is a rising second-year student at Sierra Canyon School in Chatsworth, California. His older brother, Bronny, 17, a senior, is a top prospect for the class of 2023, and also plays at the same school, according to the New York Post. Apparently, it runs in the family – and it certainly helps if you’ve got genes from “King James”.
As the world discovers his potential, here’s what we know about the younger James brother, Bryce, and why he’s primed for NBA stardom.
