The duo exchanged vows at A Little White Wedding Chapel in Nevada, the historic site of many speedy celebrity nuptials, including Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, Angelina Jolie and Billy Bob Thornton, Britney Spears and Jason Alexander, and Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas, per Metro. They didn’t pay extra for the Vegas Elvis, though: “If we wanted Elvis himself to show, that cost extra and he was in bed,” she wrote in her newsletter to fans.
Cheap and cheerful. Not what we expected for a couple with a combined net worth of US$550 million, but hey, who are we to judge?
Lopez, 52, and Affleck, 49, dated back in 2002 on the set of Gigli and got engaged the same year, but broke it off in 2004. J. Lo went on to marry Marc Anthony the same year, while Affleck tied the knot with Jennifer Garner. Nearly 20 years later, both had divorced their previous partners, and Lopez and Affleck rekindled their relationship in late 2021.
